RE: The maiden voyage

That does not sound like any fun at ALL! I would stay home and stare at in the driveway.

RE: Need more pulling power

There are many possibilities that come to mind but, since the engine light did come on I would run the codes first. If you do not have a code reader most auto parts stores will let you use one in theirs' parking lot. How many miles do you have on it? Have you changed your fuel filter recently? How about cleaning your EGR? EGR Cleaning
The 6.0 has always been a sub par motor, but it does have plenty of power. The two biggest problems that they had in 2003 and 2004 with this motor were head gaskets, and turbo problems. The cab does have to be removed to replace head studs.

RE: Toy Haulers and Snowmobiles

We use our Raptor during the winter all the time. We mostly ride short tracks (121") but I have hauled 156's. I installed a set of runners to protect the deck from the carbides. Reverse is a lot easier during unloading but a set of dolly's works well too; they just won't float over the gap between the door and trailer very well. We do not use water during the winter but we do use the John J Crapper will plenty of antifreeze.

RE: Slide Out Tray for Storage Compartment

CW has kits of different sizes. You have to provide the plywood. I have been waiting to do this myself.

RE: Questions about 5th wheel toy haulers

We haul our sleds in our Raptor all winter but it will only hold 3 with a 12 ft garage. Before we got a screaming deal on the trailer I was going to have one built byTrailer. This way I could of easily hauled 4 sleds and had the trailer insulated and built the way I wanted it, plus it would have been lighter than what I got.

RE: HELP! I think I'm over the hill!

Why is it that in the new Toy Hauler mag they don't show the Toy Hauling portion of the Renegade hauler that is in there. I am staring to vote for the Victoria Secret, it's free.

RE: OT: Driving your 4x4 truck in the snow

Just take your time and remember that torque is your friend. I drive my F-350 on my commute to work everyday. I stay in 2 wheel drive 95% of the time because I think I have more control. Plus you can power slide the corners:C. The T/H mode is very nice when descending icy hills. Fuel tank with 94 gallons of fuel helps out the bed weight.

RE: New Toy Hauler pics

I like the aluminum cabinets. I would gut my Raptor in heartbeat and install cabinets like yours if the DW would let me.
Do the slide rails for you generator setup have a manufacturer on them? I am looking to make a couple of slide like that.

RE: Fuzion Genset shuts down...

ibavamarine - Do you have the model number and the spec code for your unit. I am curious about the generator shutting itself off without a fault. I don't think the generator should have the right or option to shut itself off in 5 min after not sensing a charge. I let mine warm up for 5 before adding a load. The code that the gen is throwing makes more sense than not sensing a load.
I am just curious, I do have a good amount of problems with my Onan 5500 HGJAB.
